Duett & Quartett
Tried and tested resaws – mobile or stationary
The Duett or Quartett resaw is the ideal addition to your sawmill. Both the Duett with 2 circular saw blades and the Quartett with 4 are available in mobile and stationary models. They contain only brand-name components, for example from Siemens, Telemechanique, Lapp-Kabel and Igus.
Resaws are particularly popular in stationary sawmills and with sawyers, who use the machine as a rental device for their customers, so that it is no longer necessary to trim the side boards on the log band sawmill.
Description
2 saw blades protrude from the base frame. One blade is fixed in place while the other can be adjusted via an electrically driven spindle in order to set the trimming width. There are guide rollers installed within the table. Two driven rollers with air-filled rubber wheels press on the board from above. The feed is variable and controlled with a frequency converter.
The Quartett has 2 saw blades on each side. As with the Duett, only one side needs to be adjusted. The distance between a pair of blades is preset via fixed bushings. Depending on the length of the bushing, this produces the following dimensions: 24, 30, 40, 50 or 60 mm (0.94, 1.18. 1.57, 1.97 or 2.36 in). The machine is virtually maintenance-free.
